About the Author
Marieannette Pereira-Fernandes is an Author and Poet. She loves reading fiction and poetry. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and Psychology. She dabbled in various fields before making writing her base. She resides in the bustling city of Mumbai, in Maharashtra, India.
In October 2022, Marieannette independently published a Short Story — That Struggle, That Smile. It is about a girl caught up in a chaotic environment of life and death, who strives to win over uncertainties.
Inspired by the poet, Sylvia Plath, in April 2022, Marieannette wrote and published her debut Poetry Book — Saturnine. It is poetry for the soul, with sombre and gloom being the theme.
